'Ullo lads, got a wee question.
The popup script come from 1st party. So, it will be hard to block that, except you want to block rarbg.to page||script it self. I use uMatrix hosts block so it block the targeted page. UBlock0 also has option for hosts file subscription, not sure if that work. GPT Reward PHP Script is a GPT (get paid to) system. Users can complete offers, watch videos, view websites, download software, signup for trials and complete. Torrents, movies, download, music, games, free, RARBG Rarbg Index page.
The official sites are blocked by my ISP, being o'er in the badlands o' Britain, so I have ta resort to using mirror sites. A great example fer KAT, would have been thekat.tv, a mirror provided by the same staff for the original; it's damn near impossible to find equivalent mirrors for RARBG & ExtraTorent, however.
Any idea what the decent ones are? Those free proxies throw up ads like no tomorrow or throw a hissy fit if you have AdBlock. Awkwardly named mirrors that I found through Google are slow, ad-riddled and don't even work properly, 9 times out of ten.
So aye. Need a wee bit of help here, lads.
Their front page itself seems safe but here, for example, the very first click redirects to some random shopping or dating page. This repeats itself after six hours or on the next day, or after a certain number of clicks - whichever comes first.
From their page source the offending script (near the bottom) appears to be this:
var _wm_settings={popunder:{url:'http://adrunnr.com/?placement=401444&redirect',times:3,hours:6,cookie:'expla2',fastbind:true}};
</script>
<script type='text/javascript' src='//dyncdn.me/static/20/js/expla5.js'></script>
<script type='text/javascript'>function mBhJuWMW(name, value, seconds)....
This last truncated function is long but it uses _wm_settings and launches 'popunder', as far as I can see.
They occasionally change adrunnr.com to something else and dyncdn.me to another server as well.
Php Web Proxy
So far I blocked js on their site in browser settings (not in uBlockO) and it worked for a while with only some functionality missing, but recently they started checking cookies they expect to be planted by their js and not letting me anywhere without them.
When uBlockO catches redirect to a site in its filters it displays a warning page with an option to allow it, which is good, but I'd rather not be redirected at all.
